S.S.C and H.S.C Completing Story A friend in need is a friend indeed

TWO FRIENDS
There were two friends. They lived in a certain(mv‡U©b) village. They promised that they would help each other at the time of danger. One day they were passing through (‡_ªv)a deep forest. Suddenly(mv‡Wbwj) a bear came in front of them. So both of them were afraid and thought(_U) what to do.
One of the friends knew how to climb up a tree. So he forgot(diMU) his promise(‡cÖvwgm). He climbed up a nearby tree. He did not think what would happen(n¨v‡cb) to his friend. The other friend did not know how to climb up a tree. He did not find a way out what to do. However an idea came to his mind. He heard that a bear does not touch a dead body. So finding no way he lay down on the ground. He stopped(GmUcW) breathing(‡eªw`s) and pretended(wcwi‡UÛ) like a dead man. The bear came to him and smelt his mouth, ears and nose. He took the man for a dead man and left the place without doing him any harm. When the bear had gone away, the first friend got down from the tree and asked his friend, “What did the bear whisper into your ears?” The other friend replied, “The bear gave me a good advice. It told me, “Never trust a friend who leaves his friend in danger.”
From the above story we can say that a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Moral: A friend in need is a friend indeed.
