Asif is a rickshaw puller. He is very poor. Everyday he has to work hard to maintain his family. One day while he was pulling rickshaw a gentle man got on his rickshaw. The man reached the destination and paid him the fare. But at time of putting the purse back to this pocket it dropped inside the rickshaw.

The man went away. All on a sudden the rickshaw puller saw the purse inside his rickshaw. He understood that it was dropped by a passenger. He was an honest man. He looked here and there but did not find the owner of the purse nearby. He went back home and showed it to his wife. There was a lot of money in the purse. She advised her husband to use it for themselves. But the honest rickshaw puller said, “Honesty is the best police.” I will try to find out the owner of the purse. In the purse he saw the address and telephone number of the owner of the purse. The rickshaw puller went to a phone shop and telephoned to the man and told him of his missing purse. The next day the man went to asif`s home in a slum area. The rickshaw puller came out of his home and gave the purse to its owner. The owner of the purse was a rich man. He became astonished at the honesty of the rickshaw puller. He thanked him and wanted to give the rickshaw puller some money. But Asif refused to take it. He said, “you have got back your money and I am glad at this.”
