English Spoken Structure -1 , Use of Had Better

বরং ভাল কোন বাংলা বাক্যে বরং ভাল থাকলে নিচের নিয়মের সাহায্যে ইংরেজিতে গঠন করতে হয়। Structure: Subject + had better + মূল verb-এর present form + বাকি অংশ।

(1)তোমার বরং ঘুমানো ভাল - You had better sleep.

(2) তার বরং বিশ্রাম করা ভাল - He had better take rest,

(3) তোমার বরং কাজটি করা ভাল - You had better do the work.

(4) আমাদের বরং রওনা দেয়া ভাল - We had better start.

(5) তাদের বরং স্থানটি ত্যাগ করা ভাল -They had better leave the place.

(6) ছেলেগুলোর বরং হোস্টেলে থাকা ভাল - The boys had better stay in the hostel.

(7) ঔষধটি বরং তোমার সেবন করা ভাল- You had better take the medicine.

(8) তার বরং চাকরিটাতে যোগদান করা ভাল- He had better join the job. .

(9) তাদের বরং একটি বনভোজনে যাওয়া ভাল- They had better go on a picnic.

(10) তার বরং বইটি কেনা ভাল - He had better buy the book.

(11) তোমার বরং সেখানে যাওয়া ভাল না- You had better not go there.

(12) তোমার বরং একথা বলা ঠিক না- You had better not say this.

Note : had better যুক্ত sentence কে negative করতে হলে had better এর পরে not বসে।

(13) তোমার বরং হাঁটা ভাল।–You had better walk.

(14) তার বরং সজি খাওয়া ভাল।– He had better eat vegetables.

(15) মেয়েটির বরং গান শেখা ভাল ।- The girl had better learn music.

(16) তোমার বরং ডাক্তারী পড়া ভাল ছিল।–You had better study medicine.

(17) তার বরং চাকরি না ছাড়া ভাল। - He had better not leave the job.

(18) তোমার বরং গ্রামে থাকা ভাল।– You had better stay in the village.

(19) তার বরং ব্যবসা করা ভাল। - He had better do business.

(20) আমাদের বরং বেশি খাওয়া ভাল।– We had better eat more.

(21) তোমার বরং প্লেনে ভ্রমণ করা ভাল।– You had better travel by plane.

(22) আমি বরং কাজটি করি।- I had better do the work.

(23) তুমি বরং আজ থেকেই যাও। - You had better stay today.

(24) তুমি বরং আজ যেওনা। বা, তোমার না যাওয়াটাই ভালো হবে। - You had better not go today.

(25) তুমি বরং ডাক্তার হও। বা, তোমার ডাক্তার হওয়াটাই ভালো হবে। - You had better be a doctor.

(26) তুমি বরং ভাল হয়ে যাও। বা, তোমার ভাল হয়ে যাওয়াটাই ভাল হবে। - You had better be good.

(27) কাজটি বরং সম্পন্ন হউক।- The work had better be finished.

(28) আপনি একটি ছাতা নিলে ভালো হবে - বৃষ্টি হবে।- You’d better take an umbrella – it’s going to rain.

 

(29) আপনার আর সময় নষ্ট না করাই ভালো।- You’d better not waste any more of your time.

(30) আমি ভালো করে প্রস্তুত হয়ে যাই।- I’d better go and get ready.
