English Spoken Use of Should

 

Should

 কারো কোন কিছু করা উচিত এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ?

Subject + should + verb + Extension.

You should read more and more- তোমার বেশি বেশি পড়া উচিত |

(2) You should think deeply- তোমার গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করা উচিত।

(3) We should respect our parents- আমাদের পিতা মাতকে সম্মান করা উচিত।

(4) Every man should acquire knowledge- প্রত্যেক মানুষের জ্ঞান অর্জ্ন করা উচিত।

(5) Everybody should learn English- প্রত্যেকের ইংরেজি শেখা উচিত।

 

For exercise : help, acquire, ensure, practise, change etc.

Should have + verb এর past participle form

কারো কোন কিছু করা উচিত ছিল এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ?

Subject + should have + verb এর past participle form + Extension.

(1) You should have gone there. তোমার সেখানে যাওয়া উচিত ছিল।

(2) You should have done the work. তোমার কাজটি করা উচিত ছিল। |

(3) You should have written the letter- তোমার চিঠিটি দেখা উচিত ছিল ।

(4) You should have read the book- তোমার বইটি পড়া উচিত ছিল। |

(5) You should have played football. তোমার ফুটবল খেলা উচিত ছিল।

For exercise : begin. know, help, come, cook etc.

Should be + verb + ing কারো কোন কিছু করতে থাকা উচিত এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ?

Subject + should be + verb + ing + Extension.

(1) You should be trying- তোমার চেষ্টা করতে থাকা উচিত।

(2) You should be learning English- তোমার ইংরেজি শিখতে থাকা উচিত।

(3) You should be doing the work- তোমার কাজটি করতে থাকা উচিত।

(4) You should be thinking deeply- তোমার গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করতে থাকা উচিত।

(5) You should be practising honesty- তোমার সততা চর্চা করতে থাকা উচিত।

For exercise : control, consult, earn, enjoy etc.

Should have been + verb + ing

 কারো কোন কিছু করতে থাকা উচিত ছিল এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ?

Subject +should have been + verb + ing+Extension.

(1)You should have been writing a book- তোমার একটি বই লিখতে থাকা উচিত ছিল।

(2) You should have been reading the book- তোমার বইটি পড়তে থাকা উচিত ছিল ।

(3) You should have been doing the work- তোমার কাজটি করতে থাকা উচিত ছিল।

(4) You should have been waiting- তোমার অপেক্ষা করতে থাকা উচিত ছিল ।

(5) You should have been exercising- তোমার অনুশীলন করতে থাকা উচিত ছিল ।

Should be

কারও কোন কিছু হওয়া উচিত এরূপ বোঝালে তার পঠন হবে

Subject + should be + Extension.

(1)Everybody should be polite. প্রত্যেকের ভদ্র হওয়া উচিত।

(2) We should be conscious.আমাদের সচেতন হওয়া উচিত।

(3) We should be educated.আমাদের শিক্ষিত হওয়া উচিত।

(4) We should be careful.আমাদের সতর্ক্ হওয়া উচিত।

(5) Everybody should be punctual- প্রত্যেকের সময়নিষ্ঠ হওয়া উচিত।

For exercise : self-reliant. successful. smart, helpful, sincere etc.

Should have been

কারো কোন কিছু হওয়া উচিত ছিল এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ।

Subject + should have been + Extension.

(1) You should have been more careful.তোমার আরও সতর্ক হওয়া উচিত ছিল।

(2) You should have been patient.তোমার ধৈর্যশীল হওয়া উচিত ছিল।

(3) You should have been sincere- তোমার আন্তরিত হওয়া উচিত ছিল।

(4) You should have been realistic- তোমার বাস্তববাদী হওয়া উচিত ছিল।

(5) You should have beer attentive- তোমার মনযোগী হওয়া উচিত ছিল।

For exercise : active, noble, optimistic, wise. etc.

Should have

কারও কোন কিছু থাকা উচিত এরূপ বোঝালে তাঁর গঠন হবে ?

Subject + should have + Extension.

(1)We should have honesty - আমাদের সততা থাকা উচিত।

(2) We should have humanity- আমাদের মানবতা থাকা উচিত ।

(3) Everybody should have personality- প্রত্যেকের ব্যক্তিত্ব থাকা উচিত।

(4) Every student should have a dictionary- প্রতেক ছাত দু-হাত্রীর একটি অভিধান থাকা উচিত।

(5) Everybody should have punctuality- প্রত্যেকের সময়ানুবর্তিতা থাকা উচিত।

For exercise attention, seriousness, friend. punctuality, concentration etc.

Should have had

কারো কোন কিছু থাকা উচিত ছিল এরূপ বোঝালে তার গঠন হবে ?

Subject + should have had + Extension.

(1) You should have had experience- তোমার অভিজ্ঞতা থাকা উচিত ছিল । |

(2) You should have had sincerity- তোমার আন্তরিকতা থাকা উচিত ছিল।

(3) You should have had honesty- তোমার সততা থাকা উচিত ছিল ।

(4) You should have had punctuality- তোমার সময়ানুবর্তিতা থাকা উচিত ছিল।

(5) You should have had morality- তোমার নৈতিকতা থাকা উচিত ছিল।

Should be passive voice)

কার্য সম্পাদনকারি নি বাক্যে অনুপস্থিত থাকে তাহলে Passive voice এ বাক্য গঠন করতে হয় ?

Subject + should be +verb e past participle form+ Extension

(1)Water should be boiled- পানি সিদ্ধ করা উচিত।

(2) English should be learnt- ইংরেজি শেখা উচিত।

(3) The canal should be dug আলটি খনন না উচিত।

(4) Clean water should be drunk- পরিস্কার পানি পান করা উচিত।

(5) Balanced diet should be taken- সুষম খাদ্য গ্রহণ করা উচিত।
