I sit on one of the dives

Theme: The poet sits in concern amid the wave of fear regarding the outbreak of the Second World War that is gripping the world. The victims of World War II have lost all the hopes and aspirations of future development in this decade of dishonesty. There is death all around, which commenced the September night.

অনুবাদঃ বিশ্বকে গ্রাস করে চলা দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের ভীতিকর প্রভাব ছড়িয়ে পড়ার ভয় নিয়ে কবি উদ্বিগ্ন হয়ে আছেন। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের ভুক্তভুগীরা অসততার এই দশকে ভবিষ্যত বিকাশের সব আশা এবং আকাক্ষা হারিয়ে ফেলেছেন। সেপ্টেম্বরের সেই | রাতে শুরু হওয়া মৃত্যু চারপাশকে ঘিরে রেখেছে।
